Structural analysis

The department has core knowledge in various technical fields such as transient thermal and mechanical analysis, explicit impact analysis, fatigue, structural-induced noise, fluid structure interaction (FSI) and structural analysis of polymers and composites. This covers analysis of various products such as wind
turbines, pressure vessels, cars and medical equipment.

FS Dynamics cooperates with a large number of customers to deliver better and more robust solutions faster and reduce costs. We are committed to provide high quality services for product and process development to all aspects of industry.

Core competence markets are for example Automotive and Energy. Within Nuclear power we are one of the leading competence providers for strength evaluation according to the ASME standard, for both dynamically and thermally loaded pipelines. In addition, we also provide seismic qualification analyses of components and systems.

Calculation tools

We use state of the art 3D analysis and commercial software including ANSYS, ABAQUS, LS-Dyna, RADIOSS, and MSC NASTRAN. ADAMS, Adina and Stateflow are used for multi-body simulation, STAAD.Pro for steel structural analysis and PipeStress for piping calculations.
