Structural analysis

Calculation and simulation can be helpful in addressing issues involving large deformations, fatigue, thermal analyses, fracture mechanics and crack-growth. Our FE analysis staff has experience in a range of fields from acoustic and vibration simulations to composite materials to earthquake analysis and crash simulations.

We regularly work with structural issues within the following industries: automotive, heavy vehicles, energy technology, electronics, food, gas and wind turbines.

One of our largest sectors, is nuclear power. We are one of the leading competence providers for strength evaluation according to the ASME standard, for both dynamically and thermally loaded pipelines. In addition, we also provide seismic qualification analyses of components and systems.

Calculation tools

We use state of the art 3D analysis and commercial software including ANSYS, ABAQUS, LS-Dyna, RADIOSS, and MSC NASTRAN. ADAMS, Adina and Stateflow are used for multi-body simulation, STAAD.Pro for steel structural analysis and PipeStress for piping calculations.
